An assigned work where a poster as made for this particular course that deals with technology and education—aptly named Educational Technology. The point of it was to create a poster and present it to the rest of the class. The interesting thing was that I had to present it as if I was the teacher giving my class, and the rest of the students were, well, MY students.
My poster was about the literature genres within fiction and nonfiction. I had some of the genres on the poster covered up with a strip of bright colored paper (not shown) and gave some students another strips of paper (shown) with the name of some of the genres. I had the students with the names tell me which categories the genres belong to: fiction or nonfiction. Once they answered, I uncovered the ones…covered.
Basically, what we did was to practice as teachers.
